Oberlo is one of the best dropshipping automation apps on the market today, it has thousands of users and many people have seen tremendous success with it. However, it does have its limitations (like most apps) and because of this many people seek a good alternative to Oberlo. So, what is the best Oberlo alternative and what feature do they provide? In this article, I have listed the 10 best Oberlo alternatives that will help you run a dropshipping business more efficiently.
Best Oberlo Alternatives
Dropshipping is a very popular eCommerce fulfilment method, it’s one of the easiest ways to start an eCommerce business, mainly because it has low start-up costs and you can run it from anywhere in the world. With Oberlo, it makes running a dropshipping business much easier by streamlining many of the tasks involved in running a dropshipping business.
Oberlo is a great app, it comes with some fantastic features, great support and lots of free guides on all things related to dropshipping and eCommerce.
As Oberlo saw huge growth and customer success, Shopify purchased the app for $15 million dollars, with the full support of a multi-billion dollar company, Oberlo went from strength to strength, it continues to be updated regularly and remains one of the easiest dropshipping apps to use.
However, no matter how good a product like Oberlo is, there will always be flaws or weak points that will make people look for alternatives.
The Oberlo alternatives I have listed below are a mixture of freemium and paid apps, some have a basic free version that you can always use and others provide a free trial period where you can test them out.
Some only work with one eCommerce platform while others integrate with lots of eCommerce platforms.
Which one you choose will really depend on what eCommerce platform you are selling on and the features that you want. Fortunately, they all have similar features, but some are easier to use while some will be more budget-friendly.
12 Best Oberlo Alternatives
#1. AliDropship
So, my number one Oberlo alternative may or may not surprise you, AliDropship is the best Oberlo alternative for people who run or want to run their dropshipping business on WordPress.
Despite the rapid rise of Shopify, the largest number of eCommerce stores are built on WordPress and AliDropship is the best WordPress dropshipping plugin. It comes with a ton of features and is not hard to use, although if you are unfamiliar with WordPress, it may take some time to fully understand how it works.
The plugin comes with some amazing features that will semi-automate a lot of the tasks involved in the day to day running of your business.
These include things like, automatic pricing rules, automatic inventory update, one-click product import from AliExpress, one-click order fulfilment, automatic order tracking, detailed sales dashboard and a host of other features.
They also have a Chrome extension that will allow you to quickly analyse any products on AliExpress and see if it will be good to sell. Apart from their world-class plugin, AliDropship continue to expand their product range, they provide a custom store creation service, have developed multiple plugins that will extend the functionality of your store and they provide a ton of free guides on all things related to dropshipping.
The AliDropship plugin costs a one-time fee and there is no free trial, but you do get lifetime updates and support for free.
#2. Dropified
In the early days of Oberlo’s success, it was Dropified that was the main alternative, back then the app was only compatible with Shopify and was called Shopified. They have since rebranded their name to Dropified and the app is compatible with a few more eCommerce platforms that include WooCommerce, Groovecart and CommerceHQ.
Dropified has a really nice and easy to use UI, it comes with a lot of features and will help you run your dropshipping business more efficiently. It comes with some really good features like allowing you to price your products according to its product category and supplier price. The prices will be automatically updated if the supplier changes their price so you don’t have to worry about losing money. You will also be able to fulfil orders quickly and send out tracking info to your customers at the click of a button. With Dropified you can also import products from close to 100 online retailers, however, the automation features can only be used with AliExpress.
Dropified recently released another service called Dropified Black, this is currently closed to new members but basically this service gives you access to suppliers of high-quality FDA approved health supplements. You can private label these products and sell them under your own brand but the storage and fulfilment will be done by the suppliers.
Dropified has two pricing plans and comes with a 14-day trial for both.
#3. Shopmaster
Shopmaster probably has the most advanced features out of all the Oberlo alternatives on this list. The app is easy to use but can get a bit complicated if you want to use some of their more advanced features. One thing the differentiates Shopmaster from all the other apps on this list is that there is a free version that gives you access to all its features. Yes, you can use Shopmaster completely free with all its features this includes an unlimited number of orders per month. Shopmaster has a lot of automation features and allows you to import from over 30 suppliers. It integrates with 5 eCommerce platforms, this includes Shopify, eBay, WooCommerce, Wish and 3DCart.
With Shopmaster you can import and order products in bulk, set advanced pricing rules, get notified when there are updates to your suppliers’ inventory and automatically send tracking data to your customer. Shopmaster also allows you to change suppliers easily so that is not reliant on one supplier for your products and you get a very advanced sales report in the dashboard.
Shopmaster is one of the best Oberlo alternatives and the best option for those on a tight budget.
#4. Spocket
This is a fantastic dropshipping app, it has one of the best ratings on the Shopify app market and is very easy to use. If you are tired of long shipping times and want access to suppliers that are based in Europe and the USA, then Spocket is the dropshipping app you want. You get access to thousands of high-quality and sometimes very unique products. Importing products and fulfilling orders can be done very easily, you can also brand your own invoices so it looks professional and something the customer will remember you by. It’s a very simple app, it does not have as many features as some of the others I have mentioned and that can be a good thing because you don’t want to be overwhelmed by too many features when you start a dropshipping business.
Spocket has 4 pricing plans and for each, there is a 14-day trial, if you are looking for alternative apps to AliExpress dropshipping, Spocket is a good choice.
#.5 Modalyst
This dropshipping app is similar to that of Spocket, you get access to lots of suppliers from the USA as well as many from around the world. They are also official dropshipping partners of AliExpress, so you have access to millions of products you can start dropshipping right away. Importing products is very easy as is fulfilling orders and tracking information is automatically sent to your customers. You also get real-time inventory updates so that you know when a product is out of stock, has a price change or something else changes and you can quickly make any necessary changes so that it doesn’t affect your business.
Modalyst has three plans, one is completely free but there are limitations on how many products you can import, still when you are starting out and are on a tight budget, its good to have a free option that will allow you to get started risk-free.
#6. DSERS
This is another official dropshipping partner of AliExpress with one major difference, this app is completely free to use. It doesn’t come with many features but the main ones you need to run an AliExpress dropshipping business like importing products in bulk and easily fulling orders are available. Other features include adding multiple suppliers to products so that you are never out of stock, getting automatic inventory updates, notify your customers about shipment tracking and getting updates if any of your suppliers change their prices.
Its doesn’t have a lot of features, but if you don’t mind putting the extra work and are on a tight budget, this is an excellent Oberlo alternative.
#7. Doba
Doba is probably one of the oldest companies to provide a dropshipping service. All their suppliers are based in the USA and they do not ship internationally, so if your customer base is not in the USA, Doba will not be suitable for you. You get access to a wide range of products in a variety of categories and you can integrate with most of the major eCommerce platforms. Doba takes a bit more technical knowledge to use the software to its fullest potential and so its rally suitable for established dropshippers who have a team and would like to expand their product range.
Doba isn’t one of my favourite dropshipping services but because they have been around a while and offer a decent range of products and integrate with most eCommerce platforms, I decided to include them.
They have three pricing plans and have a 30-day free trial where you can test their main features and see it its suitable for your needs.
#8. Printful
Printful is the no.1 print on demand dropshipping app on Shopify and has a huge range of products to choose from. If you want to sell products with your unique designs printed on them, Printful is a fantastic service to go with. What differentiates Printful from all other print on demand services is that they do everything inhouse, nothing is outsourced, from warehousing, the printing your products to shipping them to customers, everything, after you place an order, is a taken care of by them.
The best thing about Printful? It’s completely free to use, you only pay when you make a sale, it’s a win-win situation for everyone. I should also add that Printful provides a lot of helpful resources on starting a print on demand business and you can connect your Printful account with many eCommerce platforms.
#9. Printify
This is another print on demand dropshipping service, they are very similar to Printful, with a few differences. They outsource the printing service to different companies and depending on the type of product you want to sell, you can work with different print providers. They have a large collection of products and you can get started for free.
Printify integrates with Etsy, eBay, Shopify, WooCommerce and Wix, this is a good print on demand service and worth checking out.
#10. Gearbubble
Gearbubble is a print on demand dropshipping company and they also have their own eCommerce platform called Gearbubble Pro.
They have a range of products that you can print your own designs on and start selling via their own platforms or on Etsy and Amazon. After a sale is made, they take care of the rest, they are not as well-known as the other two print on demand companies I have mentioned and they do not have a massive selection of products to choose from, however, their products and printing are of high-quality and they provide excellent customer support.
#11. SaleHoo
If you don’t want an all in one solution for dropshipping and just want contact details of legitimate dropshipping suppliers, SaleHoo is should be top of your list. SaleHoo has a huge database of wholesalers and dropshippers and you also get access to their massive library of products. However, SaleHoo is more than just a huge dropshipping directory, they also have a product research lab where they provide data regarding what products you should be selling and you also get access to a lot of free resources like guides and case studies.
It’s a fantastic service and totally worth the investment.
#12. Worldwide Brands
This is another huge wholesale/dropshipping directory, it may actually be the largest on the internet. They continually add to the database and currently have thousands of suppliers and over 16 million products. If you know what you want to sell but cannot find a legitimate wholesaler or drop shipping supplier, Worldwide Brands will most definitely help you find one. Thye could do with more training and resources like SaleHoo and update the look of their website but this is a legitimate service and worth investing in if you want contact details of wholesale suppliers in the USA and Europe.
