Drop shipping is one of the best online business models for new entrepreneurs to start, its easy to run, does not require a lot of money and you can run a drop shipping business from anywhere in the world as long as you have access to the internet and a laptop. If you have ever thought about starting an eCommerce business through drop shipping ( and you most likely have since you are reading this article), its likely that you have comes across many dropshipping courses that claim to show you how to build a successful dop shipping business from scratch.
However, in the age of the internet, where its possible to fake everything, it hard to determine which course is legit and which is not. So, for this article I have researched the best dropshipping courses and narrowed them down to just 5.
The eCommerce industry is growing at an exponential rate, accorrding to retail analysts,eMarketer, eCommerce will be a 4 trillion dollar industry by 2020. There are a lot of people trying to cash in on this growth by either starting their own eCommerce business or selling their knowledge of this industry in the form of training programs.
This is why its best to only purchase courses from people who have an extensive knowledge of the industry and know what they are talking about.
For this reason, I made sure that every drop shipping course on this list is by someone that has actually started their own store and have been in this industry for more than a couple of years.
I have also made sure that all the courses on this list are no more than $500, I am of the persuasion that you do not have to spend thousands of dollars to access a high-quality course. There may be a of quality courses that reach into the thousands, but I haven’t tried them and thus feel uncomfortable promoting them.
One platform that often gets overlooked when searching for the best dropshipping courses is Udemy. I have purchased plenty of courses from Udemy and have been thoroughly impressed by them. The other reason I included dropshipping courses from Udemy is because people actually leave real reviews and ratings which has little chance of being manipulated so when a course gets a high rating, you know that it is good.
One other thing I must add before I list the best dropshipping courses is that know matter how good a course is and how much training and support they provide, it ultimately is down to you to make your business a success. If you buy any of the courses on this list, don’t just let it sit there collecting digital dust, go through the training, take action and consistently work on building your business and never give up.
So here is my list of the best dropshipping courses for 2019.

I am still amazed that many people do not know that Shopify has their own eCommerce training program called the Shopify Academy. Shopify and dropshipping have become synonymous and so its comes as no surprise that they dedicate a whole training course on dropshipping.
There are seven modules that cover the following topics;
1.How dropshipping works
2.Identifying a niche
3.How to start a Shopify store
4.Finding products and suppliers
5.Oberlo 101 ( Oberlo is Shopify’s dropshipping automation app, learn more about it here)
6.Fnding products through directories, wholesalers and Google.
7.How to get your first sale.
Its a good overall introduction on how to start a dropshipping business from scratch, the Shopify academy also has full courses on Facebook advertising ( which is the main ad platform that most dropshippers use), Google ads and SEO, these are essential for learning how to drive targeted traffic to your store.
The Shopify Academy also has training material on starting a print on demand business, email marketing, copywriting and other aspects of running a successful dropshipping business.
I should also add that Shopify provide tons of free guides and resources and their blog is a huge source of eCommerce education and all of it is completely free. I highly recommend you take advantage of all the free resources they provide, its totally worth it and you have nothing to lose. Also make sure to check out their forum where you can network with successful eCommerce store owners and pick their brains. This is definitely the best free dropshipping course on this list.

eCom Elites is by Franklin Hatchett, it is a comprehensive drop shipping course and is currently in its 2ndversion.
I first came across Franklin Hatchett when I was researching Tai Lopez to see if he was legit or not. I found a YouTube video where he basically critiqued they way Tai Lopez goes about making his money and I was thoroughly impressed by it, it also saved me money from investing in Tai Lopez’s 67 step program.
Franklin is a YouTuber who makes money primarily through eCommerce and affiliate marketing and he is very successful with both. I highly recommend you check out his YouTube channel, he has some fantastic content and different ways to make money online and is a very good educator.
eCom Elites is one of his main training programs and it is one of the most comprehensive courses on starting a eCommerce business through dropshipping.
There are 9 modules that contain a over 170 videos that range in length from 10 minutes to an hour.
The course covers everything from niche selection and setting up your Shopify store to running Facebook and Google ads. Franklin dives heavily into Facebook ads as this is the main source of traffic, he uses to drive sales for his business, these videos alone could be sold separately as a different course.
Other traffic methods he teaches are Google ads, SEO, Instagram, email marketing and Chat Bots.
He also bundles in a lot of bonuses that includes extra material on niche selection, spying on your competitors ads, custom conversion training and analysing ecommerce stores on Flippa to see what is working for them.
Franklin is a overall cool guy and even if you do not purchase his course, go watch some of his YouTube videos, they are very informative and will give you ideas on the many different methods to make money online.

I came across Tristan Broughton on YouTube recently and was impressed by his videos on dropshipping and the amazing success he has had.
I also found out he has his own dropshipping course called Product Winner Blueprint which has been recently upgraded to version 2.0.
The course consists of 7 modules that includes over 50 videos and shows you how to build a dropshipping business using Shopify and Facebook ads.
There is a considerable number of videos related to Facebook ads as this is the main traffic strategy that Tristan uses for his business.
The course includes how to set up your store for maximum conversions, niche research and production selection, increasing the average order value of your cart and how to automate your business once it gets profitable.
The only weak point I can see from this course is that it only teaches you on method of traffic generation and if there is anything, I have learned from running an online business is to never rely on one source of traffic.
Overall this is a good course from someone who is running their own successful dropshipping business and as far as I can tell, the course is updated regularly which is good because the world of eCommerce is always evolving and what worked last year may not work now.
Cost – $12.09
A course by Theo McArthur who has been making money online since 1995, she has had success with affiliate marketing and eCommerce. She has her own Amazon FBA business and runs an independent eCommerce store.
She is also an excellent educator and has numerous courses on Udemy all related to eCommerce.
This dropshipping course consists of 53 lectures delivered mostly through video, however, there are also downloadable PDF’s and resources.
In total the course contains over 8 hours of video material, 10 articles and 34 resources you can download.
The course covers the following topics;
Niche and Product research
Setting up your Shopify Store
Optimising your store
Using AliExpress and Banggood for dropshipping
SEO for product description
Scaling your business
How to deal with returns
Evaluating stores her students have built.
Some people look down at Udemy courses because they are cheap, but trust me these courses are good and thousands of real reviews testify to that.
I am a huge advocate of the dropshipping business model and this is why I decided to write up this article. Dropshipping is a fantastic way to start an online business, especially for those who are on a tight budget as it does not require you to invest a lot of money to get started. There are a lot of dropshipping courses, I have only listed 5, I may expand this list in the future as I review more courses. However, no course can ever guarantee your success, therefore I am not a huge fan of training programs that come attached with a huge cost.
The no.1 factor that will determine whether you succeed or not is you, I honestly believe that most of the information on starting online business whether its dropshipping, Amazon FBA or affiliate marketing can be found for free. Yes, there are some really good paid courses, like the ones I have listed, but to get started in dropshipping, you do not need to by a course, start with the Shopify Academy and make use of all the free resources they provide. However, if you still feel you are not ready, then purchase a course that is within your budget.
