AliDropship Review – The Best WordPress Dropshipping Plugin

Welcome to my AliDropship review.

Dropshipping is one of the most popular and cost-effective ways to start an eCommerce business, it does not require you to purchase inventory in bulk, rent a storage facility or make delivery arrangements, this means that you can start a drop shipping business without a huge investment.

Although drop shipping is relatively easy to run, many of the tasks can become tedious and time-consuming which is not an efficient way to run a business. 

Fortunately, there are many tools and services that automate a lot of the day-to-day tasks related to running a dropshipping business.

One of these tools is the AliDropship WordPress plugin.

In this AliDropship review, you will find out just how powerful this plugin is and how it can help you build a dropshipping business even if you have no experience.

As AliDropship continue to evolve and add extra services to their business, I have had to continuously update this review, however, sometimes they may discontinue a service and I may not be aware of it, if that is the case, please leave a comment or send me a message so that I can correct this article.

Before I get on with the actual review of AliDropship, I want to answer a few questions regarding this company.

What is AliDropship?

AliDropship is a company of software developers and eCommerce experts with a focus on providing software solutions for people looking to start a dropshipping business.

Who Owns AliDropship?

Their founder is Yaroslav Nevsky, has run many successful drop shipping businesses and is the brains behind their flagship product, the AliDropship WordPress plugin, which is the subject of this review.

He has documented his success stories on some of the most famous internet marketing forums one of them being on BlackHatWorld which you can read here.

How Does AliDropship Work?

The AliDropship plugin has many features, which I will explain in further detail below, however, the short summary is that it simplifies the process of importing dropshipping products into your WordPress store and fulfilling them with the simple click of a button

Although AliDropship is known for its fantastic dropshipping plugin, they have developed other apps that have been designed to further enhance the performance of your dropshipping business. These include plugins for social media marketing, Google advertising, Facebook advertising, and recently they released a new plugin that will help you identify the most trending products on AliExpres.

To further show that they are fully invested in their customer’s success, they provide an extensive range of guides and resources on how to start and run a successful dropshipping business.

This is a legitimate company and one of my top recommendations to start an online business with.

AliDropship Review – Main Features

The AliDropship WordPress plugin comes with many automation features that will help you to run a dropshipping business more easily. 

These features include the following;

• One-click import from AliExpress
• Fulfil orders quickly
• Automatic customer order tracking
• Automatic inventory update
• Automatic pricing rules

With the Alidropship plugin, all these tasks are automated, saving you a ton of time and allowing you to concentrate on marketing, advertising and making your store a success.

As you can see, Alidropship is a powerful plugin that will you run a dropshipping business more efficiently.

Importing Products

The core feature of AliDropship is that it allows you to import products from AliExpress pretty easily.

There are two ways you can import products with AliDropship, you can do it within the plugin dashboard or import products via their free Chrome extension.

The extension makes it easier to identify products with ePacket delivery, ePacket is the cheapest and fastest delivery method for small and lightweight items and is the delivery method used by most drop shippers. Products with ePacket delivery will be highlighted in green.

However, you are not restricted just to one delivery method, the Chrome extension gives the option to choose from 12 other delivery methods.

Some of them will take more time than ePacket whilst others will be faster, but most drop shippers stick with ePacket and this is what AliDropship also advises.

There are a couple of useful features that come with the AliDropship Chrome extension. One is the AliDropship seller rating, this is AliDropships own internal rating system that tells you whether a seller is to be trusted or not. Each seller is assigned a score out of a 100 and anything over 90 is given a green light and means the seller can be trusted. You can also edit the product description and make it more unique and SEO friendly. 

The other feature is that it will notify you if there are sellers that have items at a lower price than the one you are currently viewing.

You can do all of the above within the main plugin dashboard, other features of AliDropship include the following;

• Search and Import – Easily import your desired products from AliExpress, also allows you to apply a set of filters so that you can narrow down your product search and import the correct items.
• Auto-Updating – Through API access, the plugin will keep the most up to date information regarding your products. So any changes that take place in AliExpress will be shown automatically in your store.
• Pricing Automation – Through a simple maths formula you can set the price of each item in your store, without having to manually go through each one separately. This is a feature that will save you lots of time and help you stay in profit
• Automatically fulfil orders – No need to enter each customer detail to process their orders, its all done through the click of a button and the order will be confirmed on AliExpress.
• ePacket Shipping Filter – A really useful feature that will tell you which products are fulfilled through ePacket for faster delivery.
• Auto Order tracking – Track your customer’s orders and update them automatically regarding delivery.

As you can see, these features are enough to justify the cost of this plugin, however, there are even more aspects to this plugin that make it a bargain.

There are various other features like;

• Engage with your customers by allowing them to leave reviews
• Run promotions by offering discount coupons
• Retarget those who abandoned their cart

• Multiple payment gateways including PayPal, Stripe, 2CO and others
• Inventory management

In addition to all of the mentioned features, AliDropship has developed several other plugins that will add some extra functionality to your store.

Some of the plugins are free but most of them have a one-time charge.

These plugins are;

• Google Merchant – Will allow you to add your products to Google shopping,a great source of buyer traffic.
• Facebook Business – Synchronize your store with Facebook product catalogue and make Facebook advertising campaigns more efficient.
• Recent Sales Pop-up – Build your customers trust by having social proof that people are purchasing from your store, this is also a huge conversion booster. 
• Social Rabbit – A social media marketing tool that is used to promote your store on all the main social networks.
• Abandoned Cart – Retarget customers who abandoned their cart through email notifications.
• Countdown timer – Encourage your customers to purchase by offering them a time-limited discount

These plugins work with both Alidropship and Alidropship WOO. I would also like to add that if you do decide to go with the WooCommerce compatible plugin, you will have a wider range of plugins available to you through the WooCommerce extension store.

AliDropship Woo

There are two variations of this plugin, the original plugin that comes with its own themes, and another version that is compatible with WooCommerce.

AliDropship has its own guidelines in choosing which plugin to install on your site.

If you already have a WooCommerce enabled eCommerce store and a have a solid understanding of how WooCommerce works, you should choose Alidropship WOO.

However, if you are just starting out and do not have much experience with WordPress or building any type of website,I would advise you to use the AliDropship plugin

As you can see from the image below,there are only a couple of differences between the two plugins but they are significant.

The normal AliDropship plugin only works with its built-in themes while Alidropship WOO works with all WooCommerce themes. Alidropship WOO is also compatible with all WooCommerce plugins while Alidropship is not.

I would personally go with Alidropship WOO because of its compatibility with WooCommerce and all the advantages that come with it.

Whichever one you choose, either of them will make your day to day running of your dropshipping business much easier.

There is one more option, you can get a custom-made dropshipping store with everything done for you.

Think of it as a complete business in a box, from niche research to site design. They will build the store for you and hand it over so that you can manage the day to day running for which you will be provided with some extensive training and support.

Alidropship has a wide range of training to help in every aspect of your dropshipping business. They have a list of quality guides on finding profitable niches, how to start dropshipping with AliExpress and how to optimise your store for better conversions.

They also have a fantastic knowledge base where you can access helpful tips on a variety of dropshipping topics.

The Alidropship forum is one of the best-kept secrets in eCommerce, it is a fantastic forum where many successful dropshippers provide fantastic value and it has some really useful threads where I have got a lot of actionable information from.

Even if you do not purchase the plugin, the Alidropship forum is a fantastic place to find some useful ideas for your eCommerce business.

Alternative To AliDropship

Although AliDropship is a very good plugin, not everyone wants to build a store on WordPress, some find the platform a bit too hard to figure out while others want to use a platform developed specifically for eCommerce.

AliDropship – Pricing

You have two options, you can either buy the plugin which costs a one-time fee of $89.

As mentioned earlier, they also have a custom store service.

There are 3 options for an Alidropship custom store service, this is perfect for those who are not comfortable building websites or just do not have the time to build one themselves. It will remove all the hassle of building a store from scratch and save you hours of time from doing product research, designing the store, setting up payment gateways etc.

AliDropship have recently added another DFY store option called premium stores, these stores are carbon copies of successful stores that they are running. It costs $300 and you get a well-designed eCommerce store with products that are known to sell. For a little extra, you can have them install the store on their hosting service and provide you with all the marketing material you need to start attracting customers.

Does AliDropship Work With Shopify?

No, the AliDrophip plugin has been developed exclusively for WordPress, if you want a similar software that works with Shopify, I suggest you check out Oberlo.

Is Alidropship Worth It?

Yes, I believe it is, especially if you have decided you want to dropship via AliExpress and use WordPress to build your eCommerce store. The Plugin is a one-time fee with lifetime support and updates and it is fairly easy to use.

Is Alidropship Profitable?

This is a question only you can answer!! Many people have used the dropshipping plugin and have found it to be a major reason for their success and in that case, it is a profitable software. However, the opposite is also true that not everyone succeeds in eCommerce, and for them, it isn’t profitable. However, I can say that the plugin does work and it will make running a dropshipping business a little easier.

Final Thoughts
